The clarity of this refreshing infusion contrasts with its sweetness in the mouth and its rich and sustained floral presence.
Remarks
The tea leaves used for this specialty are harvested in April and May in the region of the city of Fuding, on the border of Jiangxi province. They are kept until the jasmine flowers bloom and the aromatization of the leaves by the flowers is carried out according to traditional Chinese techniques, all the flowers being separated from the tea at the end of the procedure. The leaves are then rolled into pearl shapes by hand, then placed in silk nets, before being heated to dry them, the last step of the manufacturing process.
